The people have spoken!
Last August 8, CHiNOY TV premiered its latest documentary series CHiNOY TV Presents: Chinese by Blood, Filipino by Heart on CNN Philippines, garnering more than 1.3 million views on its pilot episode. Directed by the Emmy Award-winning Mike Carandang, the show, which seeks to define the modern Chinoy heritage with generations of Chinoy stories to be told, has touched the hearts of viewers all around the country.
As of this writing, Chinese by Blood, Filipino by Heart has aired its first two episodes, kickstarting the series with an exploration of Binondo accompanied by dialogue coming from multiple Chinoy personalities such as Stan Sy, Janeena Chan, Doreen Yu, and more. The second episode, aired on August 15, featured social activist and Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran founder Teresita Ang See.
