4 Chinoy-Owned Fresh Fruit and Veggies Online Vendors

It’s time for a healthy lifestyle! Interested to know where you can find the freshest imported and local fruits and vegetables?

Check out these four fruit and vegetable online businesses owned by Chinoys:

1. Fruit Loot

Fruit Loot is one of the leading fruit markets online. It began as a family business venture of providing high-quality fruits to the local market. They are focused mainly on their wholesalers and groceries, along with selling to everyday consumers via the brand’s social media accounts.

Fruit Loot mostly sells imported fruits such as cherries, grapes, oranges, apples, pears, strawberries, and a lot more. Their products are imported all the way from China, USA, Chile, Australia, Taiwan, and Peru. In addition, their avocados are fresh from Davao whenever they are in season.

2. Future Fresh

The Future Fresh team of Chinese descent started the business because they saw a serious gap in the agriculture sector and the delivery of top-quality, fresh produce with daily availability and consistency. With their indoor farm based in Manila, the next-gen farming company provides their customers with fresh produce that is harvested and delivered the same day.

Future Fresh focuses on selling fresh produce and vegetables that are non-native to the Philippines. They farm and sell lettuce varieties, various leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens all-year-round, growing everything locally within a controlled-environment indoor farm. All of their produce is gluten-free, non-GMO, with zero pesticides, herbicides, and hydroponics.

3. HI FRED

HI FRED began as a business venture among three best friends after graduating BS Entrepreneurship from Enderun. One of its co-founders, Jeremiah Zabarte, came from a family that has been in agriculture for six generations.

Together with his two best friends, Alyeska Yunam and Samantha Serrano, they decided to conceptualize a business opportunity that would benefit local farmers as well. Thus, they implemented their idea of selling local farmers’ produce through the internet in order to gain more prospective customers in Manila to great success.

In addition to fruits and vegetables, HI FRED also resells meat, seafood, condiments, pasta, sauces, and other bottled products. They source most of their products locally, while importing some fruits that can only be found abroad.

4. Always Fresh PH Fruit Delivery

Always Fresh PH’s humble beginnings started back in 2018 when they first experimented with posting cherries at MOGS to sell to online titas. From there, their orders rose quickly from 2, to 5 to 8 per day. Only then did they decide to put up an online store to cater to the demands of the market and to make their operations more systematic and sustainable in the long term.

Always Fresh PH, an online fruit store, restocks items daily, and they have a setfr of staff to do quality control to ensure their fruits’ freshness. They sell a variety of fruit selections. These include mostly imported exotic fruits such as cherries, Driscoll’s berries, custard apples, Hami melons, and many more.

They come from different countries such as China, USA, Australia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa, Pakistan, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and the Philippines. Seasonally, they also sell local fruits such as avocado, lansones, mangosteen, and pomelo.
