Auspicious Dates in 2021

The daily movements of Chinoys are heavily influenced by ancient practices and beliefs. What to eat and what not to eat, how you decorate your house, how you name your child … It’s not surprising that there are dates on which certain life events and decisions should and should not be done. This is the practice of observing “X days” or the “auspicious dates” on the calendar.
X days are the days you aren’t supposed to do specific things and the auspicious dates are the days it is considered good luck to do something. We’ve made a simplified chart for you if the traditional calendar is a bit confusing.
We’ve marked the auspicious dates for activities you may consider doing throughout the year and wish you luck in your endeavors!
