Last April 26, Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) celebrated the opening and blessing of its new Eye Center.
The latest addition to CSMC’s Ophthalmology Department aims to deliver world-class eye treatments and services to patients with the utmost quality and care. Catering to a wide variety of sub-specialties including neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma, cataracts, ophthalmic pathology, and more, the CSMC Eye Center commits itself to continue serving as one of the foremost diagnostic centers in the country.
“This afternoon’s event is another dream come true,” stated Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Zenaida Javier-Uy. “We dream a lot in this hospital. We have this bigger, better eye center for all of [our doctors] to treat our patients.”
“We have all the specialists to take care of the subspecialty needs of our patients. All the eye care needs of patients — we can take care of them,” affirmed Dr. Antonio Say.
The CSMC Eye Center provides both diagnostic and therapeutic eye-centered services.
“We want to invite everyone to come to our Eye Center. This is a safe place for healing, where we will take good care of you,” said Dr. Maria Rebecca Padilla-Abes, Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology.
