Herbert Hoover, the 31st President of the United States once said, “Children are our most valuable resource”. Our children serve as our country’s hope amidst struggles.
Thus, the Management of Financial Institutions Association, one of DLSU’s accredited professional student organizations, launches their first-ever donation drive entitled One MaFIAmily with a theme of Supporting the Children through Education, Empowering them with Hope and Assurance.
This pandemic affected many children so MaFIA took this opportunity to help them by initiating a two-month fundraising and publicity event to help their beneficiary, Vision of Hope Foundation. Consequently, this donation drive also provides an avenue to raise awareness and funds through different activities and partnerships that will be able to help the less fortunate communities and give them a light for their future.
Moreover, this donation drive will also consist of activities such as publicity, webinars, raffle draws, online games, and etc., in order to make the event interactive and enjoyable yet meaningful to audiences.
One MaFIAmily donation drive will be held from April 8, 2021 to May 21, 2021 via Facebook Live Streaming from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
