Scottie is now the big kuya of the Skyfam, as Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited big winner Slater Young and wife Kryz Uy now welcome the newest addition to their family.
In her latest vlog uploaded on her Youtube channel last Wednesday, May 25, Kryz shared with her followers the journey she went through, from labor up to the delivery room where she gave birth to her new baby.

Her birthing experience was not entirely smooth sailing as Uy shared complications she experienced along the way which she mentioned in her vlog. Their second baby’s arrival was not unexpected, as the couple shared that the baby was 37 weeks old and is 3 weeks ahead of the expected 40-week course of the entire pregnancy term.
Uy also shared in her 23-minute vlog that she started having contractions around 4 AM of May 21, which was the time the couple decided to go to the hospital. There was another complication during that time where Uy almost underwent an emergency C-section.
“The baby moved round so much nag-cord coil sya,” shared Uy. Fortunately, their doctor handled the situation well and Uy was able to give birth to the baby via natural delivery.
Despite the difficulties, the happy couple are still grateful for the safe delivery of their newborn. “All in all, everything worked out for the best. Ang daming (There are so many) instances where it could have turned for the worse but we could say that we are very lucky,” said Slater.
The couple has yet to choose the name of their baby, so for now, they call the little newborn shoti, a Chinese term which means ‘baby brother’.
The couple first announced their pregnancy for baby #2 last November 2021, more than a year after welcoming their first son, Scott Knoa in June 2020. Kryz and Slater tied the knot last February 2019.
