A wedding proposal marks a truly romantic and special moment in a couple’s life. And it deserves the best planning and creative design services there is. Recently, Kyno Kho, a Chinoy event designer successfully planned and implemented the wedding proposal set-up of Sam YG.
On January 27, 2021, radio jock and former Eat Bulaga host, Sam YG announced that he is engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend Essa Santos. He invited Kho, the 25-year-old Owner and Creative Director of Project Art PH, to plan and decorate the 20-square-meter room of their house where Sam YG’s proposal to Santos took place.

Kho shares more of the story behind the wedding proposal.
“A few days after returning from our Balesin event together, Sam sent me a message on Instagram asking if I was still available for his planned date to propose,” Kho tells CHiNOY TV exclusively. “Thankfully, we were still available! He said that he was hoping to have a simple set up in their house. He sent me one of our previous works as his peg for his proposal, followed by photos of the room that we were going to transform.
“I asked him for other details like Essa’s favorite colors because we like to incorporate the client’s likes into our set ups to make them more personal. Since she likes neutral colors, we decided to go with all dried flowers for our set up. It took us roughly 6 hours to transform one of the bedrooms into a starry night haven.”
The newly engaged couple, along with local netizens, was amazed at the venue transformation and Kho’s styling skills. It was truly a fairytale-like setting — the wedding proposal of one’s dreams. And this was all thanks to Kho’s vision and creativity.
