Newly-weds Chinoy Perry Choi & star Kris Bernal share more about #PerryTaleNiKris

In a never before seen behind the scenes, the wedding of actress Kris Bernal and Chinoy businessman Perry Choi, premiered on Wednesday night, showing more about their sunflower-themed wedding day.

“Gusto niya mabagal eh,” Perry quips with a smile, talking about Kris’ walk down the aisle. As seen in the video, Perry had kept his calm and bubbly personality even while waiting for his bride.

In this article, we’ve seen all the preparations—the calm and the chaos—before Kris and Perry’s wedding. But in this article, we’ll see more of what happened next after the couple says, “I do.”

Events stylist Gideon Hermosa made the bride really happy by making Kris’ wish come true: to be surrounded by sunflowers on her wedding day.

After the wedding ceremony, Kris asked Perry if he had teared up. Perry kiddingly answered, “Hindi. Hinihintay kita eh, bakit ako iiyak? [No, I was waiting for you. Why would I cry?]” Kris then followed up another question, what’s the most memorable part for you? To which Perry responded, again joking, “‘Yung dumikit yung mic sa mukha ko [when the mic touched my face].” The newlyweds ended up laughing together.

Even during their wedding day, the couple kept their funny banter, and it’s just their natural state, as seen on the other vlogs of Kris.

After the church ceremony, the newlyweds rode a helicopter going to the reception venue. The helicopter ride was said to be a gift for the couple.

If you think Perry didn’t cry during the entire wedding, you guessed wrong! The only time Perry became emotional was when he danced with his mom Vicky Choi, and it was such a beautiful scene to witness.

During the message-giving portion, Perry’s uncle gave the couple simple advice:

“The one thing that I’m sure of is that it’s very effective. If ever you have something you can’t agree with, you try this: either one of you, look at the other person while they are sleeping,” said Perry’s uncle.

In the end, Kris thanked all of the suppliers, organizers, guests, family and friends, and Conrad Manila for making #PerryTaleNiKris a reality.

Kris and Perry tied the knot at St. Alphonsus Mary De Liguori Parish last September 25, 2021. In case you missed it, you may watch the wedding ceremony here!
