Chef Cyndrick Tiu has worked in some of the best restaurants in the world. Eleven Madison Park in New York, Gordon Ramsay at the London, and Jean-Georges are just some of the impressive few already on his culinary resume.
Now back in Manila, Tiu has launched Hello, Gourmand, an online specialty brownie shop that sources and highlights the finest ingredients from local suppliers: chocolates from Davao, pure sea salt from Pangasinan, raw sugar from Negros, coffee beans from Sagada, and many more!
“I really wanted to do something incredibly simple and familiar but executed creatively,” shared Tiu. “This pandemic has forced me to step outside my comfort zone and do something productive — and hopefully, something that could make people happy.”
WHAT TO TRY: Hello, Gourmand currently offers four flavors of delectable brownies: First Base, the shop’s signature dark chocolate dessert; PB&B Sandwich, peanut butter brownie sandwiches topped with banana chips; Mint Condition, peppermint-infused dark chocolate treats; and Turkish Coffee, cardamom-and-cinnamon-spiced brownies infused with coarse-ground Sagada Arabica coffee beans. All flavors are available in boxes of four and boxes of eight, with First Base Brownies priced at P320 and P600 respectively and all other flavors at P380 and P700. A Box of Eight Medley can also be ordered for P700.
Hello, Gourmand accepts orders via its social media accounts.
