On Tuesday, August 19, Shopee Philippines released a video across all its social media platforms with a teaser of its new brand ambassador described as “legendary” and “childhood hero.” With these giveaway clues, we probably all know who he is by now.
If you grew up in the Philippines, then you probably know Chinese actor Jackie Chan. As for this writer, he is a childhood hero who couldn’t be compared to anyone else. Chan is famous for various award-winning action films, but on top of our lists is The Knight of Shadows Between Yin and Yang, Chinese Zodiac, and Kung Fu Yoga.
Shopee, a Singaporean e-commerce platform, aims to provide customers with a smooth, secure, and fast online shopping experience. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve in the Philippines, Shopee has made innovations in its platform to elevate its customers’ online shopping experience.
Other Shopee brand ambassadors include Chinoy singer Jose Mari Chan, actress Anne Curtis-Heusaff, TV personality Kris Aquino, singer Sarah Geronimo, game show host Willie Revillame and YouTube sensation Alex Gonzaga. And today, we get to confirm the newest face to represent the brand’s 9.9 campaign this year.
