You’re missing out if you haven’t tried these gems on foodpanda

It goes without saying that the pandemic continues to change the landscape for the food and beverage industry. Over the past year, restaurateurs and consumers have relied heavily on food delivery apps to follow minimum health and safety standards.

For these businesses, using food delivery apps enables them to continue operating. On the other hand, customers take advantage of food delivery apps for a semblance of food trips despite staying home.

Before the pandemic, only well-known restaurants and fast-food chains were doing home deliveries, but what if I tell you that now even small to medium scale restaurants can deliver their offerings right at your doorstep?

If you’re looking for food options that are not too mainstream but would still satisfy your cravings, CHiNOYTV has gone to a “foodventure” on Foodpanda to give you these hidden gems which you don’t probably know about… yet!

Keep scrolling to know your next food trip at the comfort of your home:

Faasos (P110 – P250)

Suppose you want an easy-to-eat lunch or dinner wraps. In that case, Faasos is a new restaurant in foodpanda that offers a variety of flavors such as Curry Spiced Chicken (P250), Teriyaki Fish (P230), and Cheesy Meatless Meatballs (P210), among others.

S’wich (P110 – P200)

S’wich takes brunch very seriously! Whether you’re a waffle type of person, an all-out sandwich lover, or a croissant loyalist, S’wich offers all of it. If you’re looking for a light but filling sandwich that will tickle your taste buds, you should try Swich’s melt-in-your-mouth Bacon & Cheese Waffle Sandwich (P260).

Medley (P200 – P500)

Medley is a modern Mediterranean restaurant that offers an assortment of tastes and textures that Mediterranean cuisine is known for. Medley would be happy to adapt to your requirements if you have a preferable dietary lifestyle as it takes pride in offering options for meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans. Our personal favorite? The Tikka Pitta (P219) which is a marinated grilled chicken, pocket pita bread, sandwich greens, green mango salad, Israeli salad, mango chutney, and the sauce of your choice.

The Daily Cut (P330 – P550)

If you’re the type of person who counts your calories and always reads nutrition labels, then The Daily Cut will make your life easier. The restaurant has comprehensive nutritional information about every menu item, so you know what’s fueling your day and keeping your diet on track!

The Empress (P330 – P1800)

Of course, Chinese restaurants will never be out of our list. For this one, we’re recommending The Empress Dining Palace serving flavorful and delectable Cantonese cuisine. As much as dining in the restaurant gives you an unforgettable experience, having The Empress’ specialties delivered at your home won’t make the taste and food experience any less. Our favorite from the menu? Try the crowd’s favorite, Roast Duck Rice (P577).

Noah’s Green Kitchen (P110 – P300)

Another new healthy option from foodpanda—Noah’s Green Kitchen! If you’re craving organic rice bowls, try Noah’s Chicken Inasal Earth Bowl (P239) or Seared Fish Earth Bowl (P239), you won’t regret it!

Yi Fang (P80 – P120)

Yi Fang has been in the Philippine market for quite some time now, but it’s always milk tea that takes center stage. At Yi Fang, you can have refreshing fruit teas that will satisfy your cravings for freshly brewed tea with a twist of fruity flavors.

Hei Tea (P60 – P120)

Another fruit tea option. If you’re tired of the usual milk tea flavors, try Hei Tea’s refreshing Lychee Green Tea (P60). A fusion of strong green tea with a kick of sweet lychee. It also has other flavors such as Peach Black Tea, and Taro Oreo Cheesecake, among others.

Urbanica (P60 – P100)

If you’re like us, who wouldn’t have a complete day without a good cup of coffee, then it’s time for you to try Urbanica’s milk coffee offerings as your new work-from-home companions. Among Urbanica’s Milk Coffee variants are Brown Sugar Milk Coffee (P80), Strawberry Milk Coffee (P110), and Matcha Milk Coffee (P100).
