Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global Signs with Smart Araneta Coliseum for Winners Night 2026

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The stage is set for a milestone as Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global (MMCG) officially signed with the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 3, 2025, marking its grand return for Year 2 at one of the country’s most iconic venues.

Known as the home of Binibining Pilipinas and the legendary Thrilla in Manila, Smart Araneta Coliseum has hosted countless landmark events, cementing its place as a symbol of Filipino excellence and global prestige. The venue will now serve as the official stage for the Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global Year 2 Winners Night, happening on February 10, 2026.

The contract signing was led by MMCG Year 2 Pageant Director Nicole Cordoves, CHiNOY TV’s Alvin Tan, Uniprom Inc. COO Irene Jose, and Uniprom Inc. Marketing Manager Gines Enriquez, with BPCI Secretariat Liliana Soriano also in attendance.

Following a highly successful inaugural year that united delegates from the USA, Malaysia, Australia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global now sets its sights even higher as it expands its international reach and deepens its celebration of Chinese heritage and identity.

“We wanted a stage that truly matches the global scale and cultural depth of this pageant, and Araneta Coliseum represents that,” shares Nicole Cordoves, MMCG Year 2 Pageant Director.

Uniprom Inc. COO Irene Jose also expressed her excitement about the partnership, saying, “Smart Araneta Coliseum is one of the most iconic and sought-after venues in the Philippines. Since its opening in the 1960s, it has become the premier destination for world-class concerts. Smart Araneta Coliseum will serve as the perfect venue for Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global Year 2.”

By bringing its coronation to a world-class venue, Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global continues its mission to empower young ambassadors of the Huaren (华人) identity, embodying the rich heritage of people of Chinese descent around the world. 

Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global Year 2 officially begins on January 28, 2026, gathering exceptional delegates from around the world who embody the fusion of tradition and modernity that defines today’s Chinese community.
