Owner of the iconic, 82-year-old Kamuning Bakery Cafe, Wilson Lee Flores 李天榮 is a real estate entrepreneur, college professor, and multi-awarded writer. His father and ancestors were in the lumber and sawmill businesses since the 19th century, but his father died when he was age 7, so he started out as a young real estate broker without capital, then went into realty business before accidentally going into the bakery business due to a realty investment. 

You won’t want to miss out on his tips on how the bakery has sustained itself even in this time of pandemic! 

  • Antonio L. Tiu

Antonio L. Tiu is Chairman/CEO of Earthright Holdings, Inc., AgriNurture, Inc. (ANI), Greenergy Holdings Inc. (GREEN), Philippine InfraDev Holdings Inc. (IRC), Makati City Subway Inc., The Big Chill Inc., and Agricultural Bank of the Philippines Inc. He holds a Master of Commerce, Major in International Finance from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, a bachelor degree in Business Management from the De La Salle University, and he is also an alumnus of Chiang Kai Shek College graduating from batch 1993.

  • Brittany Ang

Brittany Ang is the 23-year old co-founder of The OC Chef, an online food business that is known for its lusciously meaty and cheesy lasagna!

In 2019, Brittany together with her co-founders, saw the need to bring quality dishes prepared with “OC hygiene” to the market. And so they did, as a sideline. But when the pandemic hit, she made the bold decision to quit her job at her full-time job and instead go full-time with her growing online food business. 

The OC Chef started with only three dishes: Luscious Lasagna, which was a recipe passed down from her ama, Cheeky Chicken Pops, and Blissful Banana Creme. Now they have an expanded menu that comprises both western and eastern dishes. They run their day-to-day operations in their commissary in Quezon City where cleanliness and quality are always the top-most priority.

This young taoke will definitely amaze you, so be sure to catch her! 

  • Eric Thomas Dee

A seasoned restaurateur! He’s the president and COO of Foodee Global Concepts, one of the largest multi-brand F&B groups in the country, managing homegrown brands like Mesa and Pound, and Michelin-rated restaurants like Tim Ho Wan and Hawker Chan! 

Eric Thomas Dee is also the Co-Founder of Kraver’s Canteen, a multi-brand cloud kitchen operator, looking to help build brands and other food business owners. 

This well-versed taoke will surely give you a lot of insightful takeaways! 

  • Jacqueline Lim

After working as an IT operations manager for Procter and Gamble, Jacq joined the Uber operations team in 2015. In her almost 3 years in Uber, she’s gone through several roles. Launching vehicle rentals and creating the TNVS one-stop shop are among her notable achievements. 

Following the acquisition of Uber in South East Asia, she continued her ride hailing journey in Grab as part of the transport team where she was in charge of bringing quality and safety best practices. She then transitioned as Head of GrabExpress after a year where she has led the business to tremendous growth during COVID-19. One of her key initiatives is launching the Grab Madiskarteng Boss Club, which enables and empowers thousands of businesses through accessible instant and same day logistics services.

  • Greg Camacho

After doing some work in investment banking and corporate finance, Greg started his tech journey in Uber as part of the launch team for UberEats back in 2018. Following the merger with Grab, he moved over and helped launch GrabFood Philippines instead as one of its founding members. As operations lead, he helped take GrabFood’s first 7,000 merchants online and launched Cebu as the first expansion city outside of Metro Manila. Following this, he was tasked to lead the strategy team to help the platform recover after the COVID-19 outbreak began. 

He currently serves as the Head of GrabFood. Greg has an MBA from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder, so you definitely won’t want to miss out on his tips!
