A Chinoy could be the next winner of the Elite Model Look World Final Competition, an annual fashion modeling event by Elite Model Management, the modeling agency that also handles Cindy Crawford, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Kendall Jenner.
Reins Mika is a 21-year-old model based in the Philippines who is with the Professional Models Association of the Philippines. However, instead of joining the competition’s model category, she decided to enter the digital creator category and showcase her passion for creativity and producing all kinds of art.
She is the first Filipino to represent the Philippines in this category and the only Asian in the competition. She is also among the lucky few Filipinos who have been previously chosen for this prestigious competition, besides Alaiza Malinao (2016), Pauline Prieto (2010), Verns Buckley (2002), and more.

Each year, models and digital creators from all around the world sign up for the chance to win a global contract with the Elite World Group network of agencies, giving them the opportunity to expand their career in the fashion industry.
Looking forward, she shared her hopes with Elite Model Look: “My biggest hope for the future is for young women to never underestimate themselves. No matter how big or small the challenge can be, it doesn’t determine what’s possible for you. It’s definitely important to always remind ourselves to be bigger than our fears because we are capable of anything if we put our hearts and minds towards it.”

The competition results are fast approaching in January 2021, but Reins is probably taking it in stride, going by some of her favorite inspirational words from Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
