Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) and Discovery Suites Hotel have partnered for a new program, Safe Care. The venture is an avenue for people to meet with their physicians while minimizing exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
With the Safe Care program, patients can book one to two-hour meetings with their doctors within the safety of Discovery Suites Hotels. In addition to strict adherence to DOT health and safety protocols, Discovery Suites Ortigas also partnered with Lysol to further protect guests.
Safe Care visitors will coordinate with their CSMC doctors through the e-consult platform and secure confirmation for the meetups. The CSMC system will then inform Discovery Suites Hotel’s Safe Care team of the schedule. Each guest will be notified and will receive pre-visit requirements. Payment for the appointment will be settled online to minimize in-person contact.
Guests can expect temperature checks at entrances, health care questionnaires distributed, social-distanced elevators and rooms, Lysol disinfection of meeting spaces after each use, and sanitation stations – all with the luxury and comfort of the hotel.
Aside from the Ortigas hotel, the Safe Care program will also be implemented in Discovery Primea Makati and other World of Discovery hotels in the months to come. CSMC and Discovery Suites Hotel embrace this challenge and lead the way to a healthier Philippines.
