Grace Christian College (GCC) recently celebrated its 70th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service online to great success. Rev. Dr. Paul Lee Tan and nearly 40 speakers, who are prominent persons connected to GCC, gave remarks and glowing testimonials.
Among the speakers were illustrious alumni, which included a Philippine senator and industry leaders. The secretary of the Philippine Department of Education, heads of top organizations for Private schools in the Philippines (COCOPEA and ACSCU), head of the leading accrediting body in the USA for Christian schools (ACSI, Association of Christian Schools International), heads of Filipino-Chinese community organizations, and heads of the leading USA organizations for studies in GENESIS (Answers in Genesis) and for REVELATION (Pre-Trib Research Center).
Notable names like Sen. Win Gatchalian, Dr. Ellen H. Palanca, Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Atty. Gabriel A. Dee showed up to show support for their alma mater and friends from the prestigious school. Dr. James L. Tan also introduced his presidential successor, Dr. Christine Joy Tan.
More than 350 people participated in the Zoom meeting, including some from overseas. They also played a video montage that included the music of Grace Christian College, history, and collages of recent activities of GCC that delighted the participants.
The successful event would not have been possible without its beloved community. Grace Christian College remains strongly committed to its founding principles and strong emphases in the Bible and high-quality education.
