Mr. and  Ms. Chinatown Global Team Pays Courtesy Visit to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno

Manila, Philippines – The Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global (MMCG) team, led by Pageant Director Nicole Cordoves 丁妮可, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Nicole was joined by key representatives from CHiNOY TV 菲華電視台 and the MMCG Board, including President Alvin Kingson Tan 陈丁山, COO Loraine Tan 姚麗英, and Chairman Henry Tan 陳亨利.

During the visit, the team discussed collaboration between Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global and the City of Manila, highlighting Binondo, the oldest Chinatown in the world, as a key location for the pageant’s Chinese heritage-themed events. This partnership aims to promote Manila’s rich history and scenic landmarks leading up to Chinese New Year celebrations next year.

The pageant’s journey will run from January 28 to February 10, 2026, culminating in the highly anticipated Winners Night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Pageant Director Nicole Cordoves said that audiences can expect this year’s candidates to be stronger, more talented, and more diverse, reflecting the global nature of the competition while continuing to celebrate Chinese heritage.

Mayor Domagoso expressed his support for the initiative and welcomed efforts that highlight Manila’s cultural heritage to a global audience.
