The next thing she knew, she began getting more orders to the point that reservations were fully booked! That was how her little pastry shop, CK Pastries, was born.

CK Pastries prides itself with its homemade Ube Pandesal, with delicious cream cheese and ube halaya!

CHEF RODGE
With his family at home because of quarantine, Roger de Jesus began baking daily merienda for them. De Jesus would share some of his creations to close friends and family to try. People would always entice him to sell his bread and would even ask how much a dozen pieces of bread would cost, but he was hesitant to start. After an outpour of support and encouragement, he decided to finally become Chef Rodge and share his home bakery to the public.

Chef Rodge’s homemade creations, such as his Sausage Rolls (L), Tuna Buns (C), and HK Pineapple Buns (R) are delicious with every bite!

WHAT TO TRY: With a lot of products developed over time, Chef Rodge recommends several of his products. His delicious Sausage Rolls feature chicken sausage wrapped in bread, while his Tuna Buns contain a scrumptious combination of tuna, mayo, and corn.  For the ones who prefer a sweeter taste, his Ube Cheese Pandesal is soft and fluffy with cheese and halaya inside, and his Strawberry Cream Cheese Pandesal not only tastes like strawberry but is filled with cream cheese. Lastly, he prides in his version of HK Pineapple Buns that is perfect with a cup of coffee.
